It's the biggest one day race in Spain, favoring climbers. All the big guns will be here, some from the Tour like Roglic, Onley, Lenny Martinez, Powless.
And some fresh ones like Hirschi, Del Toro, Ayuso, Vine, Ciccone. So who will win in this big pool of talent? This is the big return of Ayuso, who will want to prove himself on Spanish soil, after getting stung by a bee in the Giro and having to abandon.

Hard to look past UAE for the win ( Roglic is probably pooped still from the Tour and UAE can use multiple guys). Lenny VE was there at the end last year, so an unexpected guy on the podium probably.

Kern Pharma will be ready to disrupt the WT teams' processional plans today.
Curious to see what version of Prodhomme shows up with.
Maybe Pellizzari and Gregoire can make a difference on the descent, but dismantling del toro will be difficult.

del Toro is strong of course, but not really the guy who tends to drops everyone on a 2k climb. Should be a fairly open race, I think.

Historically CSS has been pretty good for riders coming off the Tour. But it appears to be less so in recent years, though in 23 and 24 the calendar was shuffled a bit with the Olympics and WC, and this may also coincide with the longer, harder route.

I'm not surprised but I disagree with how heavily favored Del Toro is simply because he's done nothing to nobody at the WT level.
