Thor Hushovd. Why not?

Or Rojas.

I had my doubts about the rainbow jersey wearer, but he's wearing it with honour. Much better than last year(although the one from last year would have been even better this year lol)

Samu, Phil or JROD. If Gilbert can stay over the climbs i think it is his to win. IF JROD does not lose time on the descent he might win. For Sanchez it's a question of form for him ( has he recovered from the TDF?????) GVA might be able to stick with but i think i shall side with Buffalo Soldier ( De Gendt ) as my dark horse. He recovered from broken fingers 4th in ITT and did well on Alpe D Huez. He excels in these type of races as well Paris-Nice and packs a good sprint.

I think Cadel wore the rainbow jersey well last year. 5th in Giro wearing the pink jersey, F-W, wearing the leader's jersey at the TDF for a day after having crashed. That still makes up a good season. Better than Ballan's in 08. Hushovd could win for Norway??? El Pistolero weren't you critiscising Thor after P-R as well. Like you've changed your mind after 2 wins at the TDF (hindsight) but yeah.

Rabo will be quite a dominating team here.

The only good thing for Rojas is coming 2nd or 3rd. And I thought Erik Zabel was bad in 2005 for coming 2nd all the time.

Hermans for RS why not??? Cunego could go heaps well too. Wouldn't it be nice Vanendert was sent up the road and won. Frank and GVA will be BMCs' hopes. CAS will go well for SBS. Gerrans should be Sky's leader. Katusha have a super team but when have they put the hammer down??? I wish Sagan did it for Liquigas, maybe next year.

I shall hazard a guess saying Chavanel will attack.

Last year Gilbert complained he had no legs to be competitive there, because of he haven't ridden the Tour, unlike the other favourites. This time he's definitely in the top form. I hope Samu will do better than in the previous years and will achive at least the podium. Among other favourites I think there are Cunego, P.Velits, Lulu, Hesjedal, Uran, Purito, Zubeldia, Barredo, VanAvermaet.

Ryder Hesjedal to jump away from the lead group in the final kilometers. He was very strong in the third Tour week, and he should be able to carry this form into San Sebastián

I hope you are not reffering to the route. This definetly a GVA race. Actually winning is the bigger question for GVA.

Oops I think I misread the profile, it looks a bit hard to me. GVA can win it if he can outsprint the others in the select group but he might attack instead.

Nah, after last year's course change I think it's too tough for him, and also for the likes of Hushovd and Rojas. Look at what kind of guys were up there in the finish - all of them passable climbers in the real mountains, plus Porte. Greg can do well, like last year, but I don't think he can be a real contender.
