GVA to make up for 16 when he was attacked by the camera bike.

I am surprised Kreuziger isn't riding this instead of Pologne.

Race just isn't the same with that final climb. Should do Jaizkibel - Erlaitz - Jaizkibel - Arkale and go back to the old finish - toughening up the climbing part of the race while simultaneously not making it all about the final climb punch.

Alaphilippe vs. Dan Martin. Bernal to complete the podium.
I can't wait to see Egan working for himself. Alafpolak big favourite IMHO

I totally agree. They way the race is now it's like a Fleche Walonne with the finish line after the downhill.

You gotta wonder what the organizers were thinking. "We changed the route and put a murito at the end of the race and suddenly nobody wants to attack from far out anymore? I guess we have to use a different murito then"

It appears the self-proclaimed Home of Cycling are not showing this live on either of their TV channels

No Bala?! :surprised:
see Team Movistar-thread
Perhaps MR hoped for a constructive, informative response, possibly in the belief that the principle of a forum is that people share information and that the reason that they are divided into different threads is the acknowledgement that not everyone is expected to read every post.

But there again, TB's response there was not much more helpful:

Valverde is removed from de cyclingfever startlist for San Sebastian? Why?
obviously, because he is not riding

Perhaps TB would like to explain the attitude, and what he thinks the purpose of a message board is.

In that other thread, Koronin suggests that he went on holiday after the Tour, and DFA123 that he is burnt out. Hope that is more helpful that TB's rudeness.

I do think that the principle of a forum is that people share information. However, to suggest that he went on holiday after the Tour, or that he is burnt out, or that he is maybe too busy washing his hair today unfortunately is not information, but speculation. Most Armchair cyclists that post here are guilty of such speculation and I find that rather irritating.

the gap to the breakaway: TORRES (BBH,67) LUIS MAS (CJR,75) BAGÜÉS (EUS,92) BARTHE (EUS,93) RODRIGUEZ (EUS,97) CHETOUT (COF,83) is 7' 20''

So what helpful information do you think you were contributing with your terse comments in both threads? And if you believe that the responses in the Movistar thread were so unreliable, why would you direct MR to it?
