Holy sh*t! I didn't get to see it live so I just rewatched the race and I'm really impressed by how Philipsen took this. Incredibly strong performance and well deserved.

We'll see if the women's race will just as wind/rain affected as the men's was yesterday.

Elisa Balsamo is the defending champion after she beat Lorena Wiebes, who had to ride the final with a broken spoke after a crash. Together with Charlotte Kool they make up a trio of hot favourites this time around, but there are also quite a few other names who can potentially fight for the podium here, depending on how the race unfolds.

Wanna see some echelons, guess it doesn't happen a lot in woman racing?
I'm supporting once again for some Italians.

What are these random "leader jerseys(?)". Wiebes in red. The one from Canyon in blue, while teammate Bossuyt in normal team jersey. Do they have some sort of classification with all the WT races or something?

Make sure you watch the Lorena Wiebes interview on eurosport

Poor dude, he just wanted to ride with them.
