Hello all:

I'm a fairly useless time trialist who only does them when forced, I.e. When they are in the middle of a stage race. I am looking for a clip on aero bar that will work with a carbon handlebar.

Any suggestions?

OK, fair enough. I am about as far from an expert on these matters as one could be, but it seemed like we saw a fair amount of it at the Giro today, true?

1. Does the manufacturer say your bars are 'clip on compatible'? If true, go to 2. If false, go to A.

2. Do you have (access to) a good torque wrench? If true, go to 3. If false, go to A.

3. Use clip-ons that have a smooth clamp, not a clamp with teeth.

or....

A. Just use aluminium bars.

Depends on the handlebar, not the clip-on..which handlebar? Check with manufacturer.

Just copy Millar?
