My desktop is stuck at Verifying DMI pool data....... ELORI is compressed press ctrl+alt+del to restart. When i restart i am back at square one

Cause

This issue can be caused by any of the below reasons.

Corrupt boot files on the computer.
Settings for hard disk drive are not correct.
Floppy diskette or CD in computer causing issue.
Boot devices not set properly.
BIOS corrupt or misc. setting not set properly.
Connections loose or disconnected.
Bad Hard disk drive or other bad hardware.

could be a tricky one, i would be making sure my boot settings are right in the bios first.

Just doing a test quote here, in a small topic where it won't matter, to see if I get the same blue blob and distorted page as in the Ads topic just now.

edit - aha! There is no blue blob here, which is good.

well yes, danderous territory no doubt and if one is unsure what they are doing in there I would advise just leaving it be. But the boot settings are simple enough.

also make sure you have no cds, floopy, external hdd, usbs etc attached or in the drive upon startup.

me got problem

All my food pics are disappearing
I did a system recovery yesterday and noticed my pics in the kitchen thread are gone. they are all hot linked to my facebook account.
after checking I find the image url's have changed

If I add that h and hyphen it works. I can't go back to all the places they are posted and edit
What in Sam Hill did I do?
what can I do?
chaos thread not affected all those are stored on picasa
mainly food pics.
