I find myself in the unusal position on anti-doping of giving accolades in the Anti-Doping world.

All I can say to Travis Tygart and his team is, "Well Done!"

The evidence is comprehensive in just about every category imagineable, its predictive in its analysis and finds convincing elements and evidence to corroberate that analysis. Although parts can be debated in terms of analysis, the conclusion is utterly beyond doubt: Lance Armstrong, indeed much of the peloton, clearly doped.

As someone who has followed the saga and attempted to maintain a level of balance of healthy skepticism of both sides, I can say that there is not rebuttal to the conclusions that USADA laid out.

Again, a job well done by USADA and its team.

Actually Bro, considereing I stated on thid forum for years to 'follow the money', and that is exactly what USADA did - I think you have plenty of crow to eat regarding the years of sliming people directing agencies into standard, and as we see successful, anti-doping practices.

The contrast in the success with a production of actual evidence rather than media leaks and mutuial recrimination could not offer greater contrast - and for that, Tygart get his kudos.

The rest of the Anti-Doping world should pay attention to what right looks like, and perhaps now we can move away from the speculative world of accusations like:

#1 - Cancellera is a mechanical doper.

#2 - Wiggians is clearly cheating because he talked about cadence.

#3 - Garmin is just talk, but really has a sophisticated doping program.

Etc.

The mark has been set. The rest? It unhelpful. The practice of developing evidence and presentation has been met.

The only thing I would change in USADA's process is that I would lead with the evidence - it is, in the end, all that matters.

Congrats to Tygart. And big congrats to Novitsky as well. Even though we may never be able to fully appreciate his work, it did lay the groundwork for what is to hopefully become of Lance Armstrong, Johan Bruyneel, Michele Ferrari, Pat McQuaid, Hein Verbruggen, and the many cronies at the UCI.
