Conrad Murray found guilty

Guess I need to say that I actually don't care that much about this whole case. But now it's up for discussion with my - perhaps agressively - statement ;)

'Sky News reporting people fainting outside the courthouse after the Michael Jackson verdict.

If only there was a doctor available...'

I tend to agree with Thomsena. I'm not surprised. People loved Michael. Also, had Murray not been there, or a physician, he would have skated. Those made him an easy target, regardless of how much drugs Michael took by his, or any doctor's hand, at Michael's wishes or demands.

Sad story all around.

Just heard that the Jackson family is filing lawsuit against AEG, for putting too much pressure on Michael. Really too much for me...

First blame went to Conrad Murray. It was his fault, which I can slightly understand a jury deciding. I still find fault with the person who knowingly hires a doctor to give them medicines not given outside of a hospital. Its not like Mike was tricked and given these drugs without his knowledge. He knowingly played with heavy drugs. Why does he not have fault for these decisions and everyone else has to pay because it is their fault?

Now the family is blaming AEG for stress and trying to get money from them. Hope the case is thrown out. One of he worst parts of America. It is never anyone's fault.

If Michael Jackson wasn't a pop star, people would be saying good riddance to a stoned idiot. I didn't like his music for some reason (call me a heretic) and I don't like him now.

Murray- he deserves to be in jail but if ever there was a scapegoat, it would be him.

If he broke a law he should be jailed, it's obvious, the irony is that Murray just facilitated what he surely couldn't prevent. Anyone who takes drugs is killing himself and i have zero tolerance to such a person (of course i don't take into account the saddest situation when a cancer victim is dying in horrible pain and absolutely should take drugs :( ).
But the most pathetic, the most shocking, something that my mind refuses to accept was seeing in news how the people (Jackson's fans) reacted on the news of Murray's guilt, what on earth made them so happy . So, yes, the word "a scapegoat" is quite appropriate in this case.

I think that Murray did the wrong thing but Michael Jackson was a drugged up nut job. He wanted the drugs. The Doctor facilitated. The Jackson fans outside are all idiots. One of them was caliming the Murray should get the deaf sentence. says it all about the crowd.

Entirely agree with this.

Conrad Murray is a drug dealer who killed the person he gave the drugs to. Except that he also abused a position of trust and responsibility. I hope he gets a tough sentence.

MJ would have been dead anyway if he was refused to get his daily overdose. If Murray refused to give the drugs then someone else would just do the job. Don't tell me that this overdose, which seemingly was the reason of his death, was his first overdose dosis of medicin. At some point the body just says stop.

What annoys me the most is, as mentioned above, the 'fans' outside the court cheering. It's not really a football match where you can win next week is it...? These fans just wont accept the fact that their hero was a drug addic, weak and sick human being and therefore seek another reason for his death, a scapegoat. And you know what? The fans' constantly zeal to bring him back on the scene eventually, in one way or another, killed him.
