Several crashes, hurt knee. Just did the hardest GT in memory. Nice one.

I'm going to love the interviews with the Schlecks today.

Does it on a vegetable diet :)

Go go Giro and Tour in a row. Next... The Vuelta. Go for the Tripple!

Maybe the decent wasn’t steep enough for Andy?

Let's make a petition for the CAS so they drop the case. Imagine what kind of crap this race would be without him.

Dont need to tell how much i like this guy. He must have the matrix of cycling soul in his chest, ridden through him, to put it back to the attacking, entertaining stuff since days gone by. He brings joy back to cycling.

Thanks to finding back to your own self, Alberto, a true champion.

One advantage of the coming CAS ruling tho is that according to a Dutch newspaper, Contador gets to keep his Giro win and his results in this Tour too.

Anyway, great ride by Contador today. Looking forward for more in the coming days.

Thank you for opening the tour, Alberto, thank you.

How much time do you think Contador needs to win on Evans before the time trial?

Bert's a proper hard case with a real killer instinct. Today was a master stroke. The Schlecks didn't see that coming.

Chapeau :D

And Navarro is back in good form as well! Expect mayhem at the Galibier!

Tomorrow another epic stage, he'll attack for sure because the Schlecks are crappy descenders. I'll be glad when that stage is over though, hope no one crashes out there.

I suggest this be moved to the clinic. :p Insane time gain on a descent that didn't suit the Schlecks at all. Really surprised he got away on a climb like that though. You think a good fart would be enough to close the gap on Contador. Pitiful showing for the Schlecklet today.

Chapeau Contador I guess.

Team Cuddles for the win. I can't depend on the Schlecks to beat AC....I'll go revise my GT dream team now....

Bravo Alberto! This only proves that you also need some serious guts, lets not forget that even on Luz Ardiden with an achy knee, he still tried!

Looking forward to a very entertaining week. I think Cadel is going to win this, but at least we are going to get to see some serious racing as opposed to Schleck sisters wimpy riding.

Gracias Alberto! :D
