Costa brother's can race

It's a shame all this hit just after he resigned from Movistar. It's turned him into damaged goods. I hope he isn't forced to go back to Portugal because apart from Radioshack nobody's really looking over there these days (the eminently suspicious Bruno Pires going to Leopard excepted).

He might end up like Sinky last year, having to just stay prepped and hopeful and get drafted in by a top two levels team once an injury hits. Maybe Astana could find space for him, wouldn't be a bad fit. Riis could probably use all the available talent he can get with Contador off the road, and let's not forget that the Sword of Damocles is hanging over Ezequiel Mosquera at Vacansoleil too.

indeed he would be a good sign for saxo bank. he is a very usefull rider and has a ton of talent( even tho he isn't that much hyped by any1 in this forum since he is neither dutch nor british nor australian). i remember seeing a post here 2 years ago or so saying he managed to top 50 the RVV, P-R, AGR and LBL in the same year and in LbL was pulling the peloton with 30 or 20 k to go or something like that.

so even if they only want to use him as a domestique he sure would be a great sign.

p.s. he did that at the age of 23 or something like that so its a great achievement
