the sceptic said:Contador to beat Froome.
Jack_89 said:Impossible that Contador defeats Froome in flat ITT,he can only limit losses in few seconds (if 15s it will be a good result).
So, Froome FTW and Kwiat second
the sceptic said:Not impossible. Contador is actually very good in short TTs when he is in good shape, and Froome is better in the longer ones. 15 second loss would be pretty bad for Contador.
Jack_89 said:Flat ITT ? It's since 2009-2010 that he did not get good result
Something different for hilly ITT (Vuelta 2012, Tour 2013, Pais Vasco 2014) or MTT (Giro 2011).
I agree he's in good shape, but however it's insufficient to beat Froome from my point of view
Miburo said:It seems you haven't watched the giro of 2011 correctly haven't you? Maybe forgot an ITT? And what about the tour of 2011?
Contador was still a beast in ITT in 2011.
Jack_89 said:oh yeah. I'd forgotten
however the issue doesn't change : for me he can't beat froome in flat ITT
