Mohoric got within 100 meters of the peleton, but at the end he lost like 45 seconds.

Perfect leadout. Viviani only had to sprint for like 100 meters and it was slightly downhill as well so it was a very short sprint (high speed).

A guy like Kristoff have no chance in such a short and fast sprint.

That climb on stage 3 is 500 meters at about 10% with the last summit at 4km to go. Hopefully it should be enough for some gaps.
