Cycling Database?

I'm trying to do a little research into some patterns among riders, and I'm looking for a source where I can see all the races riders raced in a given year, as well as what they won. I know CQ ranking is a good source for the last several years, but going any further back than 2007-2008 the listings tend to be a little less complete regarding smaller races in which the riders did not win GC/stages. Does anyone know of any other sources for similar data, preferably more complete and dating as far back as possible? (I'd like to look at data back to 1995, when the Vuelta moved to September.) Thanks!

For small races I think CQ is the best that I know of that has a database type of setup. I think you can fill in some of the holes that CQ has by going through the archives at autobus.cyclingnews.com. They usually published full results for most races of the year so if you look at the road calenders for each year you can pretty much find the pages for most UCI classified races with as full results as you'll find anywhere else. There you can probably also find startlists for several of these races since the results will sometimes only show the riders who finished the race and not the abandoners. Cyclingstartlists also has archives going back a few years with startlists for the bigger races but I don't think they do any races below 1.1 and 2.1.

You could try http://www.memoire-du-cyclisme.net . It's in French and you have to pay for the full database.

But for free you get: podiums of all races, full details of every stage of the Tour and, crucially for you, the full race results of several hundred riders of the past (from Maurice Garin to Lance Armstrong). And roster of teams for every year.

It goes back to the 19th century.

The format of CQ ranking is ideal, with easily viewable information for each rider by season, but like I said, I find that they lack some details as far as minor races going back more than the last couple years, which is this case with several of the other sites I've checked. Still looking through all the sites y'all recommended.

That's the one.

Cyclingarchives does appear to be the best, but they are all slightly incomplet regarding participation in lower level races where a rider doesn't win/podium.
