Hey all, my name is Nick. I am 24 years old and I am new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone had any good advice or knows of a couple good websites/people to look at/contact when it comes to the cycling in Spain. Specifically around Barcelona. I will be there from March 28th - May 2nd and am looking to get a lot of training/exploring in. Any and all help would be appreciated. My experience as a rider stems from mountain bike racing and now I race as a Cat 3 on the road. I love all terrain and from flats to mountains and would love to take this opportunity while im there to put in some long miles and see a lot of the countryside.

Thanks again, Nick

I do not mind being contacted directly if you really feel that you have some good info that i should check out. osky58@gmail.com

I can prly dig up some info, let me get back to you tom. night.

Gday.

I went to Barcelona in January. Rode from there to Montserrat, up the mountain and back. Here are the garmin pages:

The last return trip I got a 100 euro fine for riding on the freeway. So stay off those.

I stayed at a excellent hostel in Montserrat called Guemelles or there abouts. The guy Peter is a real dude. Otherwise I guess you could ride out there and back in one day, or catch the train out, ride up the mountain and ride back.

By the way the mountain was a great ride and great scenery.
