I'm hoping this link will work today for Montreal because I don't want to have to subscribe to Max for just one race, and currently Cyclingfans isn't listing any links I could use with a VPN. Crap...
UPDATE: the Facebook link search had posted for the Montreal race seems to be working for now, I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Thanks for the heads-up, search! :)

Another update: the Facebook link surprisingly didn't have any hiccups at all (I was definitely expecting some toward the end of the race like at Tiz), so thanks again, search!

Fom the Xfinity 'deal' page:

Offer - $19.99 for 1 Year

Offer applies to your first year only. After, your Peacock Premium plan will auto-renew on an annual basis and you will be charged $79.99/year or the then-current subscription fee plus taxes until you cancel.

I am currently paying for Peacock at 7.99/month. It doesn't look like this deal is for customers like me who are already subscribed.

Good question... I have Xfinity also and am subscribed to their $15/month deal that includes Peacock, AppleTV, and Netflix. The $19.99 for 1 year of Peacock certainly sounds great, but being I want to keep my life simple I'll stick with the package I currently have.

I'm assuming 2025 will be very similar to 2024 regarding viewing options in America.
I'm not counting my chickens just yet. It seems every year they find a way to make us buy something new. That being said I bought the annual $20 Peacock special and am still paying monthly for MAX. It has other shows and movies I've liked.
LOL I hope they move cycling to TUBI, it's free!

TDU women's on Peacock tonight.
Thanks for the heads-up!

Another heads-up is Peacock, the streaming channel itself, is listing the men's race now, first day of racing will be on January 20 (rather than the 21st) because the Aussies are something like 500 hours ahead. (I'm still trying to wrap their time zone around my head but with little success.)

I watched a good chunk of The Tour Down under this evening on Peacock. Of course I appreciate the ability to see a race on the other side of the world but jeez, the producer of the race must be deaf or else the B-Team was running the broadcast. The enviornmental sounds were significantly too loud in relation to the commentary.

I enjoy hearing the sounds of the peoton rolling down the road and the sounds of the spectators, too. But on stage 1, the mics were jacked way up and the constant wind noise, car noise, sirens etc. were mentally draining. It was difficult to follow the race coverage going on beneath the sonic hash.

On top of all that distracting noise, it sounded like 'Race Radio (?) was coming through on top of everything else. What an audio mess.

As long as I'm bitching about cycling broadcast sounds - The fake helicopter noise that accompanies a helicopter shot bugs me. Do we really need a sonic cue that were viewing things from a helicopter? I guess it's supposed to amp up the viewer's excitement level or something. 🙄

On to Stage 2 ...
