Cyclingnews Fantasy Tour De France - NO TRANSFERS - 50$ for the winner!

Hi Everyone,

I created a mini-leage on http://fantasy.cyclingnews.com

League name: No Transfers TDF 2013
Passoword: qwerty

The rules are simple, you enter one team and you let it run from start to finish without making any transfers or changes. Just let it run it's course and we see where we stand at the end of the TDF.

I dont want to create a lot of admin for myself but if you are caught with a transfer it is on par with doping and you will be disqualified

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Sure, it is there for a reason and all the best with it.

Unfortunately I have a very busy month ahead of me and wont have all the time in the world to manage and be that close to the game. I am sure there are others in the same situation as me, hence the thread.

Halfords cancels 13 tour fantasy

This is the way the game should be, no transfers.
Exception should be if someone crashes out or withdraws.

Halfords (the best game of the tour ever, just canceled their game!

I was going for a sprint heavy team. I came in 2nd one day and the top ten 4 times.

Maybe I will try this.

To add some more spice, I am going to put up a 50$ prize for the winner!

In order to qualify for the prize, you should be playing by the following rules;

1. You are not allowed to change the riders and team that you start with. I will make a note of the riders and teams submitted by each player.
2. In the event of injury or a withdrawel, you are allowed a transfer to replace the injured/withdrawn rider.
3. The entry with the highest score after the last stage of the TDF will be declared the winner.
4. You should be able to receive Paypal payments if you are the winner as I do not know how else to send you the money.

Right, if you enter this mini-league it pretty much disqualifies you from playing the main CN game as you know the strategy of the main CN game relies on transfers.

I do not want to keep track of everyone's score manually and want to rely on the CN scoring system so yup, you are either in this one or the CN one. Of course you can still enter the other CN leagues but you will be at a disadvantage as you are not allowed transfers.

Remember to make those last few changes if you have any doubts about your team, the tour starts in a few minutes. About 35 mins to go. No more changes allowed after 12:15 (CEDT Central European Daylight Time).

Once it starts I will record everyone's selection as is and that will be it until the end.

A transfer is allowed in the event of a injury or withdrawal and has to be agreed here on the forum.
