Nothing new --

Brainwashed by Cofidis.
Regrets doping.
Wishes there were top riders back then telling him it could be done without drugs.
Started Garmin with JV to help show young riders how to compete clean.

Did I miss anything?

Let cyclists who claim to be clean, set their own punishment, as they feel should be appropriate if a person in their position were to be found having lied about being clean.
"I am so sincere about being clean as I speak here before you, that if I were to be lying, I'd find it appropriate to take all my houses, bank accounts and possessions, and put me in a psych ward for at least 5 years."
Perhaps one of the clean riders would like to see that, and raise it some?

2 years racing bans don't cut it. Especially not for lying in public let alone on record or oath about it. It should be the largest crime an athlete can commit, inside or outside of sports.

Good ridance

He's a doper, a liar and a general pr1ck. I'm always happy to see him get caught in a break away. :p Dropping out of a GT is cause for champagne.

what a phony....

Millar is an excellent liar...it's very difficult to tell when he's being sincere. On multiple occasions, he's proven himself a loyal soldier for omerta since his return, so I wouldn't take the "clean team" nonsense very seriously.

The guy is an embarrassment and I wish someone in the sport would tell him to pipe down.

He'll have kept quiet about how he was so clean post ban but still working with a top doping doc, I expect

While of course having his best post-ban years on a team with Ricco, Mayo and Piepoli... not that he saw anything, heard anything or took anything while he was there.

The same David Millar who defends omerta.
