...and so the Pantomime continues...

Act 1 - the arrival of UK Postal.

Act 2 - The arrival of the Gendarmes, and the 'evil' Frenchies.

Act 3 - tbc.

Let us not be blinded by the Sky hatred. If they had anything on Cofidis and/or Di Gregorio, this is most welcome.

But I do hope this is just the beginning. :3

I am somewhat surpised that it's Cofidis. From my personal perception of the dirtyness of French teams racing the Tour they'd be somewhere in the bottom half.

Could be just one guy on his own though.

1+ was kinda obvious it would be shady when Sanquer was hired as the new manager

+1 Seems it was a year long investigation. I hope to God Moncoutie is not involved.

Di Gregorio has been there for longer than that though - this was also a year long investigation.

It's possible, makes me wonder who the people in Marseille are.

Ok, it may be overblown and maybe it's not doping (hah).

Still, I am a bit surprised.

Always good to see the police doing their job. Particularly after suggestions last year that the UCI were going to hamper police investigations by failing to share information.

I wonder how many teams are sending people away from their hotels with bags. Interesting to see if the gendarmes only go to Cofidis.

Good to see the French Police taking action. Hopefully, this is only the first and not the last.

the tinfoil hat wearer in me says that the timing of this is just emperor rupert's ploy to divert attention away from the team sky ****-taking.

hmm, signs point to Frosty being close to the truth. One man and his dope dealers. Of course, it's possible that it's just the media presentation and not the truth.

People are probably tired of seeing links to this list and i know it doesnt prove anything, etc but Cofidis did have 7 0s on it and 2 2s.

Given that Cofidis haven't suddenly seen a surge in results it suggests that Di Gregorio might have been acting on his own if he is doing something untoward.

FWIW Remy is a 2 on there too though.
Remy might have learned new tricks at Astana.

Tweet from someone:

Kudos to the French police who found Rémi di Gregorio because nobody watching the race has seen him.
