Doug, we aint heard from u dude.
Assume you still own some equity in your rich man plaything. But how about a comment, and a reassertion of the ethics of the Slippers that were left behind a long time ago, when they faced the headwind.
Ellis, you want to divest your stake, perhaps give it all to Davey boy Rockstar Millar, or reconcile the ethics and the cognitive dissonance at play.
There are a few here who still want clean cycling, without the expedience, without the false glory of winning and playing in the production of faust. Yeah, we got alot of tribal centric and jingoistic nationalists who prefer wins, and alot of greenwashing and Public Strategies' spin, but dont sacrifice the little guys like Lowe. Owe us that.
It may not be scientific, but most who have been around the sport for long enuff, know it when we see it, and that is good enough for Boardman. Dont want a persecution or scapegoating, just wish for tranparency, authenticity, and truth. Not a race to the bottom, and accede to Armstrong's ethics and an arms race of performance enhancement and attrition of integrity.
High blown rhetoric requires actions to back it up, otherwise thats all it is, rhetoric. Armstrong does that pretty well after ten years given the pulpit. He can even do it without a GED.
