Stage 1, Dubai International Marine Club > Union House Flag (145k)
Stage 2, Dubai International Marine Club > Palm Jumeirah (185k)
Stage 3, Dubai International Marine Club > Hatta Dam (205k)
Stage 4, Dubai International Marine Club > Burj Khalifa (128k)

Stage 3 ends with 200m @ 17%.

Startlist

I am presuming that the last km profile of stage 3 found on the internet is the official one and the last 200m actually have a 12% average

Anybody knows why was Diego Maradona present at the team presentation? Just curios ...

He is participating in the race. Look foward to stage 3, I've heard that he is a great puncheur.

Cavendish oh so nearly pipped today impressive by Guardini to reel him in like that.

So overall this looks pretty damn open id like see Valverde stick to his word and let Lobato role.

In terms of the overall, is Stage 3 tough enough that the likes of Gilbert and Valverde can get enough of a gap over the sprinters? I understand the final uphill to the Hatta Dam is only about 200m long which, even if it is 17% or whatever, surely won't be enough to peg back Cavendish if he has 20 seconds on them?
