Bos has to be favourite. Blythe was in a break earlier which appears to have been caught.

Last update seems to suggest that Frederik Veuchelen has 15 second lead with 25 km to go.

Nicely done by the Bos. Just wish he'd end up getting some results in races that actually matter. Veenendaal is perhaps the most insignificant race ever to have a HC ranking.

I would challenge that with Tour of Qinghai Lake and Tour of Hainan in China. At least Veenendaal gets some of the top teams to come and many good Pro Continental teams. Qinghai and Hainan mainly attract continental teams.

Some video of Bos' victory. Apologies for the silly language that pollutes the video :p

Anyway, while it is by no means an incredible achievement to beat Wim Stroetinga, Bos' margin of victory was quite impressive

It looked similar to EBHs win last year. It really indicates that the race is a bit uneven in it's field. When you only attract one or two real sprinters and send them out against third tier sprinters then it can only go one way.

It also seems that Adam Blythe goes into breaks alot for someone who supposedly a good sprinter. Is Kenny Dehaes suppose to be faster than Blythe or something?

Well, the problem of being an insignificant HC race is not the case anymore. The race was apparently downgraded to a 1.1 this year accoring to the CQ results.
