Haussler or Vanmarcke for Garmin?

Farrar maybe :) last year he finished 3rd and was the best from peleton. Haussler nad Vanmarcke are probably looking ahead for friday and Farrar again for sunday.

I hope the riders will make it a though race. Looking forward to it.

This is Eeckhout's race, so he'll probably feature somewhere. I like how he's been riding this season.

Why isn't Matti Breschel of Rabobank riding today? He is on form, won 2 years ago and is supposed to be their classics captain. Strange.

Perhaps they are saving him for the coming races and trust Mark Renshaw to do well today. I guess there is a high chance for a mass sprint from eg. a 40 man group. But isn't Matti better in that situation as well.

Matt Goss to win and continue GreenEdge's wonderful week of racing.

I thought he rode quite well at MSR and seems to be coming into some decent form.

Niki Terpstra or Maxim Iglinskiy FTW

Chavanel is coming back after illness which cost him M-SR participation so i expect Niki to lead QST. Looks like M.Iglinskiy has finally found his form after disappointing 2011 and the classics is the place where he should apply this form.
Terpstra makes a devastating Cance... uhmm... Terrpstra-like attack, no one but Iglinskiy can follow, a two-men sprint, one of them wins. It's obvious

Because he's racing Friday and Sunday? Think that's the reason.

Does anyone know the expected finish time? So I can leave uni right in time and watch the last 2 hours. :D

Almost none of the big classic stars are riding. E3 + GW in the weekend is more than enough. Three cobbled classics in 5 days would be quite extreme.

Pozzato is doing all three, but it may be caused by his lack of kilometers due to his injury and by the fact that Farnese ain't got no other choice.

in general, getting all that wildcards might be a bit too much for Farnese Vini, some of their riders will be very tired by the start of the giro.
