Etap and wireless issues

Don't own sram Etap, but question for someone who has tried it or other wireless bike stuff.
Have you ever experience any type of radio jamming making it stop working?
Here's why I ask: every time I approach a certain fire station in my town my heart rate monitor stops working, wireless cyclometer a stop working. The station has a repeater tower on it. Once about 200m away everything comes back up. This is annoying, but being unable to shift gears in this situation would be a real hassle.

sram says it won't but they also said their disc brakes were ready for prime time also..and their red rear ders, and their chainrings, and their front ders...so ......

Pass on the etap. I was able to demo for a day and was not impressed at all. Only Sram can make an electronic drivetrain that is worse than their already unimpressive mechanical Red. Shifting is much slower than Campy EPS or Shimano. Now I do love the EPS but mechanical is still as fast or faster and precise.

Big Thumbs up. Don't get etap. An advantage to bike assemblers but it's wonky shifting protocol, it's clunkiness, speed...seems cheap compared to EPS and Di2.
