Reverend_T_Preedy said:Funny how riders are complaining about some gravel roads being dangerous but not saying a word about riding up a very active volcano!
Lupetto said:There is nothing to complain. With this activity, there is absolutely no chance for this stage finishing 5k below the crater.
(don't really know if "by ground" is correct, I hope you understood anyway)"Sunday's stage is confirmed; only the last 4 kms of the climb have been affected by the eruption. On that place are already local teams that are cleaning up the road. We're fine . There's some issues for the plane transfer after the stage, due to the ash. If the situation gets worse, The teams colud be trasfered by ground.

is this suppose to be a race thread or something?
auscyclefan94 said:Well when he posted the thread, he just posted a link to a picture. Seemed unnecessary or a mistake at the time. Ferminal didn't really make what he was exactly posting about clear. Just because he is a moderator that does not make him the 'be all and end all'
Angliru said:The topic was clear. Let the initial posts in response allow the thread to form a dialogue and take on a life of it's own. Odd that someone who feels the need to start their own thread about meeting what they consider a posting milestone would question a thread that is directed at a topic that is of actual importance.
thank you, but i was asking more in terms of personal experiences... those sensitive to allergens and the like, people who had hiked or done other physical activity near by.just some guy said:

i'm wondering more about the air conditions and such, as i think they will do their best to clear the roads.
