Interesting commentary team for the final couple of stages of l'Avenir on British Eurosport. José Been is obviously a regular lead commentator, but alongside her will be fellow dutchman and former junior cx world champ Jens Dekker. Obviously we've had two commentators whose English isn't their first language commentating together (Been and Bäckstedt) but probably haven't had two who both speak the same first language.
I think Kirby probably spoke the most as a child but it would most likely just have been random ramblings.Dekker is half Australian though, so I assume he might have spoken more English as a child than Been, Bäckstedt and Kirby.
Top quality reading of the road book yesterday as the peloton splintered on the descent.Cool. We seem to be getting a Hatch-free Vuelta.
More time for Carlton to tell us about wine, ham and whatever.

Hearing Ned Boulting on Eurosport/GCN is different.
On a similar note, who is actually doing the commentary for the MTB world champs?

Bet he's a big fan of Cav, too.just imagine an INEOS rider in Remco’s position today - it’s easy to guess Adam Blythe’s words in that situation lol
Maybe they fired Blythe.disney+discovery+ delayed Breakaway broadcast on Quest from 7pm to 1am
most likely because it had post-crash bloody images of Rogla
I generally don't mind Blythe, but he does occasionally come out with some 'interesting' things and yesterday was one of them.I'm not one to moan about commentators, but Adam Blythe was chatting pure s**t on the breakaway today
