Hannah Walker, making everything sound so urgent, is setting my teeth on edge.
is it media training gone-wrong?
sounds like trying too hard to add animation to her delivery.
Manon Lloyd sounds similarly unnatural too.

also.. please cycling Gods,, deliver us from ahh-Martee-ahh-McDonald-ahh-McCrossan, with those unending dronings of peloton/breakaway rider lists (complete with team names of course, just for extra zzzs)

Manon Lloyd has only done one race so far. If it's something she continues to do alongside the presenting on the GCN youtube channel, then i'm sure it will develop over time. While one might be alrihgt presenting a video as I think anything they'll do for youtube will have a script of some sorts, commentating requires a different set of skills. Commenating is supposed to add a bit more depth and interest than watching a screen of cyclists for a couple of hours with the sound of a motobike or helicopter in the background.

I’m not sure Kirby and BS get on or at least work well as a team. They fight each other for air time. For instance during that same Tour of Norway, BS was going on and on about how riders are allocated their numbers when Kirby spotted echelons forming and tried to interrupt but BS kept on going on about race numbers.

My favourite exchange between those two was when during a stage race Kirby asked BS to predict the day’s winner and BS went into a childish strop about not having enough time to think to give a prediction.

The next day Kirby goes “now you’ve had 24 hours to think about it Brian, who do you think will win today’s stage?”
I am a Brian Smith fan and mostly find Kirby annoying but that is a quality comeback

British Eurosport are not showing the last 2 stages of the Dauphine live or any of the Tour de Suisse (not even highlights!). With GCN+ if you subscribe does it give the ability to record live races and witch them later through your Sky Q box? If not it would not be worth getting over our old friend Tiz.

Once the race is over you can play it in full whenever you want it. No need to record. They keep them up for a few months as well.

So watching the Dauphine highlights on ITV4 after having enough of the terrible Adam Blythe and what passes for insight at GCN ( Sean Kelly excepted)

I have to say if you want real humour there is none better imo than dry off hand gibes of Gary Imlach
laughed today at these

"After the stage Molano was seen re enacting the crime just in case the original pictures were not clear enough"

"Helpfully dressed in all black so we could see he was the baddie Molano later appeared from his team bus"

Does anybody know who were commentating the Route d'Occitanie on Danish Eurosport?

Quite shocking to hear two unknown voices who were much better to listen to than almost all of the other commentators working for them (apart from Bay, Breschel and Mielke).

Dunno who the "lead" commentator was, but the expert was Mathias Larsen.
But I was wondering too, only found out when they mentioned how Mathias' father just about missed racing against Valverde.

Does anyone know into which countries the Tour de France’s official world feed, broadcasts into
I believe 19 countries pick up this English feed ...UK is not one so will need to use a VPN if I want to listen to it
Wales and Ireland have native language comms

South Africa maybe one but does anyone else know any other countries who would broadcast this feed
Australia and US have their own comms teams on their networks but maybe other channels there ?
How about Asia ??

This is like the best kept secret in cycling ...why is it so hard to find out ????
I suppose the rights ES?GCN/NBC pay ASO means they cant tell the ordinary folks
Aso earn millions just on TV rights
