This. Obviously PCM is a superior manager, but in terms of race simulation this 12-year-old game is easily better. And that's a shame!

a race takes 5 hours, yes, but you can fast forward of course, but nothing beats seeing riders drop 1 by 1 in real time on a real 21 km mont ventoux for instance. also it has races, riders and teams from all over the world, from ecuador till eritrea, from australia till south africa, from brazil till portugal. it is all there. the database is incredibly realistic too.

pls try it out and ask any questions you want.

you give orders to riders during race and if not they ride by automatic ia. so you do control it. more then that. you can also control every other team and rider during the race. this may seem like cheating but if you think so then don't do it. but this way you can make the most realistic real cycling simulations, with sky mountaintrains, or anything you want or expect from a real race.

Third time I installed it I got it to do... I had to put the program folder outside of the program files folder, before I could get it to install it properly.

Now only one question remains: Which .exe file do I use to open the game? There are a couple to choose from...

The readme.txt file tells me to unpack the .rar file, but even after that I still cannot open the game....

hmm. is something to do with your videocard. latest drivers? there is nothing to select from when you open ciclismo? I will ask around

To add to what Ryo said, you can actually speed it up to x512 if memory serves, so if you're so inclined a race can take less time than the same race would on PCM.

I don't know what is the problem but it might be that you need to download and install the original game first.

try downloadingf and installing this first

then download and install this official patch and then install my file.

I think it should solve it if my memory serves me correct
