well, gotta feel sorry for Cancellara, the guy was the strongest by far in the last laps. Kolobnev was damn strong too.

But if Cancellara went earlier, I can't see how he would have lost, if no one got on his wheel 3 laps out.

he was driven by pure frustration of the last 3 years in the spotlight.. absolute break out performance - 100% clean, and pure heart was that win!

I thought I was going to get a good laugh out of this thread since this main site is Australian. Let's wait for more opinions.:D

Is this site really Australian or did it moved to a different country?

It's Anglo... It's no longer Australian owned I think but they definitely employ some Aussies.

This has gotta be the "funniest", most conflicted/self-contradictory comment of the year. :D

I am sure that the night before the race, he ate some shrimp off the barbie, a bloomin' onion, and drank a Fosters. Then he burped and said "That's not a knife <pulls out a small machete>...that's a knife. The he shagged a wallaby. What are you on?

Haven't you seen how much weight he's lost?

He's crazy thin.

Plus he went to Pamplona after the Vuelta to discuss his cadence with Big Mig. Did you see his cadence? It was like, 100 rpm or something...

Who knew losing some kg's and finding "spin to win" form could be so transformational?

I dont think in the past he has always gotten a "refill" of his own blood at the right times. The final 2008 TDF TT for example.

This is the winning year for "those guys who come close but never win" I'm convinced. And not in cycling but in all of Pro sports. Formula 1 for one, Nascar for two, maybe NFL for three.

No Australian drinks Fosters.
