Four bunch sprints and a prologue, more or less. Wouldn't be too excited. But good to see him putting a number on his back again.

Fausto today was 89nd in the prologue of Germany tour.

His previous result in a similar prologue in June, at the tour le Suisse, was 162nd

Mathematically we can conclude he has improved his level by almost 50% since June. Perhaps this means he will have some great form in the upcoming races

He was training in Switzerland after Lidl tour. Lots of hard mile

Last year he did them and he came 23rd in montreal , hopefully this year a better result.

The team has captains: Julien alaphilipe , and the 'forum mascot ' Ilan van welder, the 'belge machado' they are calling him.

It wasn't. Ilmaestro said himself, that he had avoided going to such a place, and he doesn't seem to pick his favourite riders based on popularity either.

Should be a walk in the park for him. Only rivals of note in the race are Hirschi, Ayuso, Van der Poel, Kragh, Tiberi, Wright, Armirail, Gall, Vendrame, Costa, Ryan, Pithie, Gaudu, Madouas, Molard, Mads P, Skjelmose, Aranburu, Laporte, Lemmen, Kron, Turgis, Kluckers, Brenner, Kulset, Cort and Jungels.

And just tell the pilot you're busy, I'm sure they'll un-delay it then.

Tomorrow Fausto at coppa bernocchi , a race where he has 2 top 5 finishes. Hopefully he can continue the streak, but his level looks worse than ever.
