This is new for 2012 - Can anyone direct me to its geometry and road test reviews?
Thanks

Given that it was just announced yesterday and isn't even on their website lineup yet, I would imagine it'll be a little bit before geometry and/or road tests are out there... ;)

Were I in the market for a new bike, I'd be very interested myself - I think this is *very* cool of Felt to do.

I have to say it's great to finally see a major manufacturer other than Colnago make a genuine all steel racer. Hope it sells!

I don't get the quill stem. Is there really a reason to re-introduce that? There's something about compact geo on a steel bike that just doesn't work for me.

Here's a link for some images:

oops! silly me, here's the link for the felt:

Yeah, I was confused by the quill stem myself. That and the Campy parts - does Felt sell any other bikes with Campy on it?

I don't mind the compact geometry myself, but I ride more recreationally and commuter-ish anyway - not a racer. ;)

The connoisseurs who buy steel bikes prefer Campy. Of course, most of those probably would not consider a Felt in the first place.

Compact is just plain wrong. Pegoretti would never build a compact road frame.

I'm not a fan of compact geometry either, but it would probably make the ride a little more bearable on rougher roads by having extra flex in the seatpost.

It's great to see that steel is still seen as an option by larger manufacturers (even if it's just a "niche" market). Not everyone has the cash or inclination to throw the money at a custom steel racer so how is a bike like this a bad thing?
