Absolutely. Laughing in disbelief and saying he did a landis (nervously, knowing he'd get into *** for it) isn't expressing admirationDanielSong39 said:Nah, people understood him just fine the first time and this is standard backtracking to maintain the omerta. I wouldn't read anything into his "retraction".
Not surprising@digger_forum Eurosport NL/Be commentary just now: "After every day we receive a package of metrics from Velon, with lots of data from the stage's best performing (Velon member) riders. We have it from Dumoulin, etc. But one set from yesterday is simply missing". Guess which one
Would like to know what Dumoulins are, just to try and guess what sort of craziness Froome was doing then. They'll never release his own data so best we can do is guess off othersthehog said:Not surprising@digger_forum Eurosport NL/Be commentary just now: "After every day we receive a package of metrics from Velon, with lots of data from the stage's best performing (Velon member) riders. Very coincidental it happens to him and we have no Velon data eh?PremierAndrew said:
He'll get a two minute ban and and a two million bonus.BlackWhiteEagle said:If Contador got 2 years for Clenbuterol, wich works the same way as Salbutamol, i expect Froome to get at least the same punishment +at least Vuelta taken away. If not i`m probably done with watching grand tours.
Well, Contador got banned after winning another Giro, but that was a CAS case, I doubt they care about the UCI losing face.skippo12 said:After this performance they cannot ban him without losing their face. It is a disgrace that someone who should be suspended can continue racing only to come up with an even bigger BS-performance.
One day he cannot finish in the top 20 and the next day he wins on Zoncolan. In the third week he somehow turns into Floyd and wins the race.
I hate it that no one in the current peleton or in the media has the guts to call him out. Bennett did but his team had to prevent a lawsuit and appeased Sky.
This i doubt and see how strong Froome was today, he might just go on to win the Tour. Be prepared for that to actually happen. Because right now Froome has won 3 out of his last 3 GT attempts.Alexandre B. said:Cycling is now at the very bottom.
Didn't even need a strong team in the Giro like he usually has at the Tour. Poels and Elissonde did some good work, but Sky weren't able to control the race. Their Tour team should be scary, as per usual. Looking forward to Bernal shredding the field to set up some alien attacks.LaFlorecita said:No sign of fatigue whatsoever. Could have easily taken another minute or two on the others.
Next up: TDF. Anything less than another win would be hugely disappointing.
