FSA Cranks with Chris King BB

I want to install my FSA K-Force Light MTB Crankset onto a Chris King Mountain BB. Can anyone tell me:

A. Will this work?
B. Do I need the wavy washer thing?

Also, I'm a bit nervous about tightening the crank bolt to 45Nm (as per instructions) - seems awfully tight, is that correct? I'm worried I'm going to damage the thread and/or put too much side load on the bearings...

Thanks,

I put it together with the wavy washer on the non-drive side, torqued crank bolt to 20Nm. Seems OK but haven't ridden it yet, since I have a few other bits 'n pieces still to assemble.

Without the wavy washer I think there would be side to side play, no matter how much I tightened the crank bolt.
