Barcelona 2026? Good thing it's 2026 as "it will bar apartment rentals to tourists by 2028". No cheap airbnb's for cycling fans!
Big news. That good from a selfish POV. I wonder how much of the same he will bring to the table at TV2 - I assume his work will be a bit shorter and appeal a bit more to the casual while still keeping his DNA of a very nerdy approach to the sport.
That's not even hot for central Italy during this time of the year.Hot in Italy for the coming weekend, 30C, according to some weather reports. Sweaty racing coming up.
Agree with that but for guys coming down from 2,000 meters it might feel warmish. That's not even hot for central Italy during this time of the year.
Maybe if they had lost that extra kilo or two, they could have made it further in the competition.A bit further into their careers than Evenepoel was, more footballers take up cycling...

Is that supposed to be centimeters? 100 millimeters is only like 4 inches, not too much for a 4 day period.A possible change in stage 1's parcours?

According to reports by Sporza, in recent days, this particular region of Italy has been battered by heavy downpours, resulting in some severe flooding in the area. In some places, there has been more than 100 millimetres of rain in the last few days, with the roads between kilometres 63 and 73 of the expected stage 1 profile of the 2024 Tour de France being especially badly affected.

100 centimetres would be almost the average annual amount of rainfall for the region in the span of 4 days. A) that's almost certainly impossible, and B) if it somehow did happen, we would be talking about a natural disaster with likely thousands of casualties. Is that supposed to be centimeters? 100 millimeters is only like 4 inches, not too much for a 4 day period.
Agreed, moreso saying 100mm doesn’t seem like much100 centimetres would be almost the average annual amount of rainfall for the region in the span of 4 days. It becoming more of a problem for various activities, Forestry England , via Forestry Commission, budget being squeezed by Government with emphasis on their generating more of their own revenue. The Kings Cup Gravel festival, which hosted the British Gravel Championship has been forced to cancel due to the monetary demands of Forestry England for hosting the event, the British Gravel Championships will now be held in Scotland at Galloway forest park.

I'm of course not familiar with Danish media, but to fit any journalistic standards and to make it readable for a broader audience, they would probably need to cut it to 20% at most.
In a response to a question on his last live blog for Feltet today, he said that he will keep his thoroughness and that that was a necessity for him to consider working for them.
It doesn't seem like a very logical fit but great for him if TV2 are up for it as I assume they will pay him quite a bit more than Feltet could.
Very similar to his writings on Feltet.dk.
With one major improvement:
He's put the star-rankings first!

Perfect.
Now one question remains: will he be covering as many races?
Which means probably 2/10 of his workload or something like that? They really do not cover that many races tbh.I assume he'll only cover races which TV2 has the rights for.
