The race is tomorrow and no thread.

Van der Poel is resting ahead of the Ronde, Pogacar is saving himself and also Belge Pozzato is staying at home.

Race is flat. But also some hills.

I’ll be watching on T**

I think crosswinds are most likely after Vlamertinge with 114 km to.

Why would it not be most likely in the Moeren? It's gonna be cross tailwind. Ok, wind won't be super strong, but it's also not expected to be stronger after that.

After Vlamertinge will probably be kinda cross headwind? What Am I missing?

It seems most team has a sprinter so unless there are wind i wouldn’t be surprised to see a pretty big bunch coming to the finish. Maybe around 30-40 guys like when Kristoff and Degenkolb won?

They'll be there around 14:00?

EDIT: Okay, it's more from the side than what I first saw, but it's still mostly tailwind, no?

De Moeren is expected at 13:00:

I just rewatched some of the editions of the 1980s and 1990s. There were some memorable, contested sprints, followed by angry interviews and discussions with the jury. Vanderaerden, Planckaert, Bontempi, Cipollini, Abdoujaparov ... Those were the days!

Abdoujaparov's legs still haunt me to this day...and are we sure that he didn't sire Cancellara?

ah yes, Abdou, wonderful character, a bit on the rough side race wise, but hey nobody is 100% perfect.

More center in Belgium I’m gonna have 4 Beaufort for the whole of my Sunday ride. If its like that at the race in these open fields that will be enough for some early action.

First the men’s race?
