Giro Climbers and Point Jersey

I think it's going to be a very exciting Giro this year. GC and best youngest rider are easy to pick with Contador seemingly unbeatable and Kreuziger for the youngest. Points and Mountain are tough though with most if not all the sprinters unable to make it to the end with all the mountains. For the mountains jersey it should be someone high up on the GC.

Your picks?

You mean Tschopp will finish highest of all BMC riders, getting him the supreme BMC jersey?

Edit: thanks for clarifying your post :)

No sprinter will win the points jersey because it is scored differently to the Tour de France incase you did not know. And second reason a sprinter will not win is because IIRC the points given on each stage are the same no matter if it is a mountain top finish or a flat stage. And there are many more mountain stages than flat. So the likely winner will be high on GC ie. Nibali, Contador, Rodiguez, Menchov, Scarponi etc are all front runners for it.

As for the mountains jersey i believe it will go to someone from a team that has no GC contender ie. BMC, Rabo, Quickstep, Ag2r, Omega-Pharma etc Because these teams will want to take something from the Giro and this jersey is up for grabs.

That is my opinion anyway

no of course not. but duarte perhaps can. if he's not held back too much he could win it and if he doesn't have bad days, which would be first

Whoa, careful there. Does this still apply if Kreuziger bonks, crashes or withdraws for whatever reason? If he's simply not in shape and comes 40th or whatever without any particular incident? Or only if they both do well and Seeldraeyers prevails?

Yeah, in 2009 Seeldraeyers lost like 8 minutes in time trials to the winner. Seeing as this Tour hardly has time trials and if he's on form he's a logical bet to me.

Seeldraeyers definitely can if his form is good.
I had to laugh a little when i first read that

After today even more. Come on man. You honoustly think Seeldraeyers can beat Kreuziger if he's good? He can hardly beat Kruijswijk probably.
Yesterday Seeldraeyers already lost contact on the finishing ramp btw

Yes, I think that. What does a stage with Strade Bianche have to do with climbing?

I bet *** and Kruisjwijk can win the Tour now! They beat Carlos Sastre!!!

Do you really need to act like a **** every time some Dutch wins. Really, no one cares.
