Just looking at the startlist for the Giro Di Sardegna and there's some strong riders taking part including:
- Nibali
- Gasparotto
- Cunego
- Scarponi
- Sagan
- McEwen
- Di Luca (Boooooo!!)
- Ballan
- Serpa
- Schumacher (Boooooo!!!)

Spidertech are also riding with Svein Tuft the most notable rider.

It's also interesting that there's a GB team riding which I assume is to give form from the road to take into the track competitions. The team includes:
- Gerraint Thomas
- Ben Swift
- Peter Kennaugh
- Ed Clancy
- Andy Tennant
- Luke Rowe
- Steven Burke
- Sam Harrison

The stages include 3 mountain/hill top finishes (One 1st Cat and two 2nd cat climbs) a flat stage and stge with a lumpy start and flat finish.

Like how the profiles are reasonably scaled. Stage 4 looks interesting.

Just noticed Mr. Sagan on the startlist. That stage doesn't look quite so interesting now.

Profile ~= ^^^^^^-----------

Some good routes with a good field early in the season should provide some good racing. Shame their isn't live feed even if it is on Rai 2

That's RaiSport_2 - not Rai 2.

IIRC
Tuesday 1900 and 2330 CET

Within Italy RaiSport_2 is broadcast live on the web using Silverlight plugin - but that is a pig to record for later viewing or to get to thru a proxy.

Local Weather forecast here
outlook wet but warm

its easy to record, but rai is an absolute pain in the neck to get a working proxy for.

Can I just point out that Nibali will win? Nibali will win. It's a mortal lock. Ok, thanks.

[edit] I mean Sagan. Mortal lock.

Ballan second I think? Must have been a tough finish.

[edit] Map looks dead flat so I guess not, Ballan just had good legs.

Ticker says Sagan, Ballan, Pietropolli is the podium
