Technical Overview:
Final parade in Rome. The shortest stage of the race, 10 laps over a 11.5 km flat circuit. At least the scenery should be pretty. And then the celebrations will begin.

Final km

What to Expect:
The colosseum, glasses of Spumante, a bunch sprint and finally the trophy.

When was the last time that the worlds two best GT riders targeted the Giro btw?

I can't imagine that's ever happened or at least not for a while.

Hopefully a fifth stage win for Viviani, to put a crown on his Ciclamino jersey. Real talent always gets buried at Sky, so it's good to see him shine again at a better team.

Tom to pull a vino and have 2 mins with 1 km to go, Froome to pull a Spartacus and pull Tom back and win riding backwards waving goodbye to everyone. The 15 riders ahead of Froome on points to DNF, and through the power of Sky become 25 to take the white jersey.

Realistically hopefully Bennett for the win.

Top 14 gets poisened overnight and lose 40 minutes. Betancur wins the Giro, Dennis gets a GT podium convincing him to continue to aim for gts, resulting in him becoming the next Van Garderen instead of next Tony Martin

The sequel to that would be Porte to win the Tour, Poels to win the Vuelta and Gerrans to win Lombardy and Froome wins the worlds. Alcohol sales spike worldwide and the forum has to be locked down permanently.

Sadly it's all a dream maybe from hybrid banana poisoning or from hollow South American bananas that have been used for other purposes. I think this Giro has already had more than enough twists and Richie isn't leading so there won't be any more punctures, mechanicals or falls. Maybe Gesink should ride at the back of the bunch just in case..........

He won two classics last year.
You have a strange definition of classic. He won two unimportant WT races with weak fields. General rule of thumb: if it has the word classic in its official name, it's not a classic.

Froome to take an urgent "#2 Comfort Stop" at Circus Maximus (5km to go, but Froome (and Sky) thought it was inside 3km) after Tom hands him the roll of unused toilet paper he has been carrying for 3 weeks. Tom then takes off and gains a few minutes. Brailsford cries Foul.

Haha, I was thinking the exact same thing.
