Got a feeling break wins today as well. Will Visconti go for it again??
Or will Nibbles or Arroyo try something on the downhill (or the uphill)?

Passo di Ganda: 9.2 km @ 7.3%, 29 km to finish

Downhill isnt too bad and is followed by 6k of flat so i dont see them going for it.

Passo di Ganda is hardish so someone could try something but it is far so I dont see it either. COuld break the break though.

Mah...
Lastras and Visconti are cooked from today's efforts...
A breakaway will take this one too...
Arroyo could try to enter the breakaway... and is time for Tschopp to get in the breakaway too...
mmmmm I'll go with Vicioso FTW :p
Also I would like to see Betancourt in the breakaway, but being on antibiotics doesnt help at all...

No chance for Nibali, 6km to the finish from the bottom of a non-technical descent.

nah, looks like another breakaway stage. day off for the favourites, providing no-one up on GC makes it into BOTD

Has ventoso gone home or still in the race?

Im going to say Russ Downing is going to perform a miracle and win. I think the peloton will go over that cat2 on masse.

Ventoso's gone home.

I agree they will go over the climb en masse..... 10 minutes down on a 8-15 man break ;)

hey everyone
do you think garzelli will try and get some points for the KOM today, he will certainly need some more to hold of contador. if not today when do you think he might try and get some more points. how many more points do you think he needs to lock the jersey up?

Interesting route. Lombardia territory, too. Di Luca FTW then.

If he can get in the break. He might try, but not too hard (to make the break).

Tomorrow is a bigger day, if he wins the Cat 1 he will win the KoM.

He will win the Nevegal TT in June.

Seriously, can't we keep this discussion of the threads? I'm getting sick reading this argument in every other post. Let's juts wait and see what happens - otherwise it's pure speculation and none of us have any idea what the outcome will be.

Also, I thought the Clinic was for subjects like this?

Indeed. I'd rather have the mods to remove those posts.
It adds nothing to the discussion. Just trolling from bitter people.

Only 151 km? Why even bother?!!

The funny thing also if it´s like yesterday and Half the group wants in the break after the 1st hour and we will be a 3rd of the way through the stage.

They have to include some shorter stages to balance out the longer ones, otherwise they would go over the arbitrary 3500km limit for GTs.

I think this year's route is over the limit
