I'm going to be in De Panne tomorrow on a day trip and wondered whether anyone knew of any good bike shops in the town?

You could try M. Pinte in Bredene... It sponsors a junior cycling team... Don't know any others though

I checked out the shop in Veurne, an impressive range of bikes, and it gave me an idea for my next purchase when I've got the money. Stupidly we didn't check out central Veurne itself, when I looked it up in a guidebook on the way home it sounded very interesting.

Will definitely visit it on our next visit. Still we had a nice meal at D'Oude Stove in De Panne, and we did a major Bordeaux red shop!
