Sort of a forgotten race with what else is going on this weekend.
Should be interesting to see if De La Fuente can finally start mounting a proper come back. Should do good, as he's a previous winner of the race.

Otherwise it will be Sanchez vs Purito vs (maybe Cobo) vs everyone else

Last years winner

Look at the smile on his face. He is delighted that Kolobnev gave him an home race discount.

Valverde wheel sucks Sanchez or Rodriguez and outsprints one of them in last 100m to take 'magnificent' victory, what are the chances of that, ehhh ;)

I'm disappointed that they both skip the Ronde, Gorka looked good in E3, while Ion together with Anders Lund were the strongest guys in the breakaway of Gent-Wevelgem :(

I'm hoping that Michel Kreder will show himself like in the 2010 edition where he came in second after JRod and before Kolobnev. Last year was one to quickly put behind him after he burned himself up before the season even started.

Agreed. Gorka finished top 60 or top 70 in the Ronde last year, and Ion has proven that he has the ability to generate power on the cobbles.

Now sub-60 kg Pello Bilbao is replacing Ion in the Ronde. OUCH!

gorka is a classical rider(and great downhiller) but ion izagirre is a stageracer though.

This is true, I'm ecstatic about Ion's GT debut this May, but he has proved that he is not utterly useless (but rather adept) on the cobbles like most of his other teammates.

Maybe it comes from years of tailing his older brother on his preferred terrain?

Only recently has it slipped a little out of sight.
Until last year, (or maybe the year before) it used to get televised live by Etb.
Now, nada.:(

So, I guess we are left with just Dekker Tifosi's home race to view:
Itself absent last year, The Cheeseburger Classic makes a welcome return!:D
Go the Bus!!!

You mean the Hel van het Mergelland? It was televised last year as well. It's known as the small Amstel Gold Race, so expect Rabo to control the race and then fail in the end... but just a small fail.

Thought it had a year off......
I seem to remember Pim L out sprinting "shorty" Sam D?
Oh well.
Yeh, Rabo to control and hopefully Micky Matthews can salvage something from March.

Yes, Ligthart won it last year. See, you did watch it ;)

Last year's bunch sprint was a bit unusual for this race though. It can be quite hard (all depends on the riders of course)
