GT Podium, Monument, Worlds Gold, 3x TdF Green, 12 GT Stages

Rank these accomplishment is terms of overall relevance to a cyclist's palmares

For me:

1. GT Podium - ex. Pinot
2. Monument - ex. Degenkolb
3. 3x TdF Green - ex. Sagan
4. Worlds Gold - ex. Costa
5. 12 GT stages win - ex. Greipel

Monument
WC
12 GT Stages (if not a sprinter)
GC Podium
3x Green

Monument
WC
GT Podium
12 GT Stages (if a sprinter)
3x Green

Of the examples mentioned:

WC
Monument
Tour Podium
3xGreen
12 GT stages

For me the Firenze WC ranks higher than the Copenhagen one did. A MSR sprint win also ranks lower than a Roubaix solo imo. 12 GT stages all won in a sprint is also less than for example stage wins like Nieve's.

This^^^

If the 12 GT stages included some mountain stages and breakaways, rather than just sprints, they would be higher than green jersey though.

WC
Tour Podium
Monument
Green Jersey x3
12 GT Stages

If it was a giro/Vuelta Podium I'd rate it below. Green Jersey/ stage wise is very hard, but to win 3 points jerseys you have to be consistent and it''s usually a large duel (McEwan Vs Zabel for example). Nowadays i'd rate the GT stages over Sagan's 3 Green jerseys because he barely had competition.

This. A win like Costa's win ranks very high because of all the circumstances ( no team, very hard race, awful weather) while a win like cav's isn''t much different than your average GT stage.

As for the ranks for it is:
WC
Monument
GT podium
green/stages(it really depends but for example Nieve's Gardeccia win is worth more than several sprint stages)

1. Worlds Gold
2. 12 GT stages win (if it's just flat stages it has less value though then i might put as 4th even but if it's just hard stages, then it's 2nd imo)
3. Monument
4. Gt podium
5. 3x TdF Green

Btw only thing that's bigger than worlds is the tour imo.
1.Tour
2.Worlds
3.Giro
4.RVV
5.PR

12 GT Stages
GT Podium

3 Green Jerseys

As has been said before though, what types of stages, what type and which editions of the WC can change this around a bit.

3x Green Jersey-no one gives a crap because Sagan throttles even with rules changes to allegedly make it less likely
12 GT Stages-

I would order things: Tour, World's, Paris Roubaix, Giro, Flanders, Milan San Remo, Vuelta, Liege ...

No, just no.

Being a loser in a GT is better than winning one of the biggest one day races of the year, which in term is better than becoming world Champion, also known World champion.

Also, winning a competition you're the only one who's interested in 3 times is apparently bigger than winning the WC.

Monuments, all equal

Really. Even if we see slight inequalities here, the WC and Monuments win are obviously deserving of equal recognition as GT wins. That said, if a rider won 12 stages in a single Grand Tour  , that would be pretty amazing.

As formulated by the original poster, my ranking would be:

1. Rui Costa's WC Gold
2. Pinot's Tour Podium
3. Sagan's 3x TdF Green
4. Degenkolb's Milan - San Remo
4. Greipel's 12 GT stages

I really can't see how the current incarnation of Milan - San Remo can possibly mean more than a TdF podium.

I could not disagree more. I'd take one Roubaix or Flanders over 10 GT podiums.

Red misread Red? Red read Red wrong?

I hae a feeling that riders that have won both a monument and finished on the GC podium, but have never won a GC on the road, (Schleck, Rodriguez, Hamilton for example), rate their GC podium higher than their monument.

I just realized op had that as rankings and not examples.... Wow there is so much wrong with those it hurts my sides

Brb winning a Jersey no one cares about is better than winning the Worlds
