From a country in which the song "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" was a number one single on two major music charts? I have only found one major chart for his country. If you can supply a list of the websites of two or more chart compiling organisations for every country in Europe, I will try to answer your question.

(The question was intended to determine whether he was Dutch or not. According to Wikipedia the song reached no. one on both the Single Top 100 and the Nederlandse Top 40)

Note change of the last answer above

If you put the word blue in front of the name of the country where he currently lives, could it then be mistaken for a pair or group of mammals during a conversation? I don't know for certain where he lives, but I can only think of one (non-sovereign) country that that might apply to, and I have no reason to think it likely that he might live there.

Sami isn't actually an official language, but just an "officially recognized" one.
Which is the technicality upon which I changed my answer to "From a country where Sami is an official language? " from 'Yes' to 'No*'.

Was he born in the same city as Sami Hyypiä? Yes (although I might challenge the validity of the question on grounds of the definition of city)

Kjell Carlstrom is correct.

It's extraordinary the things, non-cycling related, that one can learn in this game: I have discovered the difference between official and officially recognised languages, some strange Italian EuroPop, and what Sami Hyppia had been up to in the 15 years or so since he last crossed my consciousness.

Although I did wonder what sound two or more mammals might make in conversation that sounds like Blue-countryname.

Male?
Active?
European?
