Have your attitude towards Froome changed after the Tour?

Has your attitude towards Froome changed after the Tour?

  • Of course not. Froome is a shame of cycling and I'll forever dislike him no matter he riders

Yea, I like the guy now and found his acceptance speech genuine and heart felt

I suppose Froome did a perfect Tour. On one hand he demostrated uber strength and suppressed rivals significantly. On the other hand he had his weaknesses which allowed other guys other guys to show themselves properly. But the main thing is Froome could not provide himself with enemies though the situation was very nervous and explosive.

No, not really. I do appreciate how he goes out on the attack and makes races exciting unlike Wiggins. But my overall opinion of him remains pretty much the same.

Need different poll options. What's wrong with a simple yes option and no option? I can't vote for any of them. :(

I'm in full agreement. He took control of the race in the mountains which I liked. He seems a humble but ambitious fella that knows what he wants. I'd have liked him even more if he had dropped Wiggins constantly in the mountains of last year's Tour, purely for my own personal entertainment of course.:D

Well since I had to vote - I did vote #1. No I am not his fan but just the way he rode - no I mean the way he attacked every attack rather than defending was simply amazing.

Been years when I have seen such a strong ride from a TdF winner. Simply blew away the whole field.

As expected many kids have no guts to admit how superior Froome was. :) And if previously they had the only wall to hide behind — to say how boring Froome is — now they have nothing but clinic hints. Surely to explain the things one dislikes by clinics is the easiest way.

I'd acknowledge any Tour winner, but seemingly for many people only Contador's or Valverde wins would be a showing of real justice... :)

Guys open your eyes, Froome's Mont Ventoux is self-valuable. It's something anyone of us will always remember: something with joy and delight and others - with tears & bottle of port. And I'm proud of being among the first category of people. Froome's win was absolutely predictable. To me, it was something most of people could bet on in july of 2012 yet.

Great :D

Airstream you say he showed how the MJ should really ride instead of suck wheels. Am I stupid when I think many tout winners rode aggresively.

I haven't changed my opinion.

The man showed 2 mad attacks with gaining of huge chunks of times in the mountains. I never saw anything like that and it was extraordinary surely.

Why is there no option that says

Yes, I had more respect before TdF, but not sure anymore

I think the OP assumed that people may not shift from liking Froome to disliking Froome.

I implied that people started disliking him even more and it had nothing to do with the way he rides per se.

Yeah, but he faded in the 3rd week.If Quintana improves TT he will beat him next year (same with Nibali and his climbing)IMO.
Of course there is still option that Froome will improve too,but I doubt.

As far as I remember approximately the same was stated after the 12 Tour and 13 Dauphine...:)

I don't see any realistic route with which Quintana could beat Froome, sure if you don't think that Quintana can put minutes into Froome in the mountains.

Thats true,but i didnt believe it,now i do.:D

I think he can put 2 minutes on Froome, thats realistic imo,but thats not enough of course coz of his TT.Thats why I wrote ,if he IMPROVES his tt.
On the other hand I prefer Quintana to ride Giro-Vuelta double next year and clash with Froome in 2015 with improved TT.but thats almost impossible to happen.
