Helmet for MTB XC?

Which helmet is the best helmet for Cross Country-riding? Is it best to use light weight helmet like the S-Works Prevail or is it something else?

It depends what you mean by best. If you're racing you probably just want the lightest you can find. If you're likely to crash you will want something with a bit more protection.

The main thing is it fits and it comfortable. I like Lazer helmets, the Magma looks good with some protection at the rear (this is also important).
