We live in hope and the signs are good. Times have dropped, no names are appearing, the field is pretty even.

Heres to a great clean tour may the best man win!

What a night, TDF, F1, Wimbledon, Word Cup, AFL, magnificent:)

not sure if trolling or serious

without some sort of smilie/emoticon indicating a subtle yanking of my chain I can't entirely rule out stone cold ignorant.

....boy that Michael Phelps, he sure is some kind of swimmer though, ain't he, wish I had his trainer.

If a Sky fan, then it's likely ignorance. Sky/British fans are in the early honeymoon Armstrong early 2000's time period. :D

Watching the Armstrong documentary last night (BBC4), Betsy Andreu's comments about seeing her husband driving the peleton up a mountain ("He's not a climber") made me think of Geraint Thomas.

So, no, I don't think it's the cleanest tour ever.

To be fair: there were not mountains as Betsy meant them in yesterday's stage.

What's the longest duration for a climb so far in this year's Tour? 5-8 minutes? If so, that's a VO2max effort of which Thomas has done much work for his pursuiting etc.

If he's doing the same up 30+ minute climbs then that's a different story.
