Those roads yesterday were familiar, many of my friends (like me) are heavier, far older, have bad hearts now (or new ones!) and some have moved on to the celestial peloton. Seeing that 2nd stage ride crossing through Boulder Creek and through the Santa Cruz Mountains on television really made me smile. While I wished I was there, I was sure glad to know the roads I saw on the tv yesterday, made me grateful to have grown up there and especially grateful for my bikes over the years taking me to those places. Good times, then and now.

Fat old uy reminisces about the past. New at eleven.

You forgot to toss in your usual condescending attitude and tell us all how much we suck and how much better you are than the rest of us.
