Congratulations to Tadej Pogačar for winning Il Lombardia for the third time in the row.
Was a nice race to watch. On where in my opinion this race was won, on the last descent. Here Pogi went all in and due to the experience with previous edition(s) was able to make a difference. Remco crashing likely again took something from this race, especially at the finale. JV decided to make this race hard. Here likely JV could have send a bit stronger team. UAE still having both Pogi and Yates on the ultimate climb, Rogla forced to control alone. All in all Rogla finishing third, strong sprint from far, Bora member being involved ... Likely, just like with ToS and the Tour, a race still up for grabs in the future.
