Looking at the profiles of San Sebastian and Lombardia, it's clear that they have a lot of similarities, especially with a 4k @10% climb in the concluding stages as well as a similar distance.
Yet, many seem to discard Remco's chances for this race. Is that because Pogacar is in the race or some other factor?
I'd have thought a man who is dominant in San Sebastian should automatically be a favourite for Lombardia also. Maybe I'm missing something.
As a Pogačar fan, I wouldn’t be surprised. Can't wait to see reactions on this forum when Remco outsprints Pogi for the win.
Or Pogi outsprints Remco? In any case, definitive conclusions will be drawn that once and for all state who is better or worse! In an attempt to limit the damage a long list of excuses will follow that eventually succeed at ending the stream of reactions because this is the Mickey Mouse classic after all! Luckily none of this will happen as Roglic casually wins the sprint after wheelsucking Remco all day. Can't wait to see reactions on this forum when Remco outsprints Pogi for the win.
Yeah, I guess that's why only 3 riders won both races in entire their history.Looking at the profiles of San Sebastian and Lombardia, it's clear that they have a lot of similarities, especially with a 4k @10% climb in the concluding stages as well as a similar distance.

I guess Liege 2020...I would be.
When is the last time Pogacar got outsprinted in a reduced group and it wasn't sprinters of the calibre of Van Aert or MvdP.
I guess Liege 2020...
Bala Junior took him out with that terrible sprintI guess Liege 2020...
Only if he does a "Poels" to him, catch him by surprise, and starts his sprint some 400-500 m from the line.Ok, I don‘t know where this leap of faith in favour of Evenepoel came from, but I just believe that if Evenepoel starts the sprint at the front he could hold off Pogačar if he‘s on a bad enough day to come to the finish with the Evenepoel we saw at the Vuelta.
That's right.... I was looking at the 2022 profile😂😂Yeah, I guess that's why only 3 riders won both races in entire their history.
And Lombardia this year doesn't have 4k@10% climb in concluding stages...
Question is form. There has not been a single mention of Felix Gall in this thread. How quickly we all forget.
Question is form.
Dont know if the Skoda Tour is the best preparation, but who knows.
I guess Liege 2020...
If Remco wins Lombardia he would have 3 consecutive monument victories. Last to do that was probably Merckx in 1971-1972
The statistic is that Remco would have won in his last three monument participations then.I don't understand this statistic. Unless you mean 1971-1973 or a different 3-year period.
Three consecutive attempts. three wins. Pog tried MSR for example and failed, between his wins.I don't understand this statistic. Unless you mean 1971-1973 or a different 3-year period.

The problem was that I read 'Remco' as 'Pogacar'![]()
