Both have a surname that starts with the letter 'P'.
Both were born in September.

I'm pretty sure the rest of the world will get over it. 🫣🤣im not gonna watch i think, its pointless
Not a surprise after the Vuelta. The races after seemed more of a sponsor/appearance fees contract fulfillment sleepwalk. He was spent, like Remco and Jonas. It's been a tough season on those 3 although they still got pretty great results.
No one will catch him “later” if he goes anywhere within the last 50k. I’m still (and will perhaps forever be) waiting for a group of decent 2nd-tier (or just good climbers) guys to get away well before Pogacar attacks and try to stay away till the finish. He’ll still likely catch them but it will be more exciting. So Il Lombardia is around the corner! Beautiful roads near Lago di Como and historical circumstances.
Pogacar, who's the clear favourite here, is fighting for his 4th consecutive victory (tying with Coppi) and for 5th major win of the season (which also includes Tour+Giro double, WC and Liege), which would probably make it the best season ever (even vs Merckx's 1971 or 1972).
The fact that Tre Valli was cancelled is actually favorable for Pogacar, who will now save more matches for Saturday instead of burning them in terrible weather. My prediction hasn't changed: Pogacar will attack around 50 km from the line halfway through Sormano. Is anyone able to at least limit the damage and catch him later? Mas is in form, Evenepoel and Roglic may be fading already but they will try their best in climbers monuments for sure. We will see, either way Pogacar would still be favored in the final sprint.
And last but not least. Como area is beautiful, it's like a fjord in the Alps. I hiked in those nearby mountains in the spring.
Some of us still can enjoy the scenery at that pointCan we expect garbage coverage as usual? Turn on the cameras, watch for 10 minutes, Pog goes, race over?
Depends where you are but Discovery+ are on from 9am UK time or 10am CET so we should get at least 200km of the race shown live. Can we expect garbage coverage as usual? Turn on the cameras, watch for 10 minutes, Pog goes, race over?
So, Teddy will now race against farmers only.
Sooner or later, all my gospel becomes accepted as truthJust like Eddy. Two luck merchants, nothing more.
Alaphilippe is just a name these days anyway long are the days since he was top tier.
Why also? Was he the guy who cancelled Tre Valli Varesine?

2 minutes would surprise me.Pog with 2 minutes, 1 minute on the top for Sormano
Obviously tuning in for greatness
So are Remco gonne DNS too after reading that?
Let's be real.So are Remco gonne DNS too after reading that?
Sounds like self harm. I could use a Lefevere quote here 🤣Cycling never becomes predictable to me.
In June I said, "Okay, he crushed everybody in the Giro, but it won't be obvious to do the same in the Tour."
In August I said, "Okay, he crushed everybody in the Giro and the Tour, but it won't be obvious to do the same in the WCRR."
Now I say, "Okay, he crushed everybody in the Giro, the Tour and the WCRR, but it won't be obvious to do the same in Lombardia!"
So, maybe Remco could lure Pogi with a huge glass of local beer - the size of what Pogi gulped down in Amstel - and then just drink soda himself and, subsequently after a toast, slip away from the party and back to 50k solo, Remco-style?Now Rog isn't riding, Remco will have to find a pub by himself once Pog takes off.
It's more difficult to claim a role in history when you're absolutely missing from the finish photos...or any photos with the winner. And I thought they enjoyed racing with Teddy and being a part of history...
