Basically, the "grey area" between 16-20 has been removed. The top 18 in the sporting criterion will be in the WorldTour, period, full stop, end of discussion!

It is one step in the right direction, but more work is needed on points allocation particularly the concept of almost all points travelling with the rider (rather than the team). A better balance is needed.
